Everything Everything Review

About the Book

The instant #1 New York Times bestseller–now a major motion picture starring Amandla Stenberg as Maddy and Nick Robinson as Olly.

Risk everything . . . for love.

What if you couldn’t touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face . . . or kiss the boy next door? In Everything, Everything, Maddy is a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world, and Olly is the boy who moves in next door . . . and becomes the greatest risk she’s ever taken.

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world.I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

Everything, Everything will make you laugh, cry, and feel everything in between. It’s an innovative,  inspiring, and heartbreakingly romantic debut novel that unfolds via vignettes, diary entries, illustrations, and more.

Quotes From the book I enjoyed

“Love is worth everything. Everything

“Life is a gift. Do not forget to live it”

My Thoughts

This was the cutest book I read in a while but also very emotional. Madeline has left her whole life being told that because of her illness she cant go outside, fall in love or live her life to the fullest. She was okay with it until Oliver moved next door to her. for the first time ever she wants to live life, she wants to experience the world and more than anything she wants to love and feel loved. Soon after they become friends and her life change for ever. Now she embarks into her biggest adventure ever with Oliver by her side.

I devour this book. It was so good I didn’t wanted to stop reading it. Started my year with it and I’m glad I did it. I recommend this book to everyone.

I give this book 5 out of 5 bookstacks

  1. This has been on my list for a while. I feel like it’ll be predictable, but I still want to check it out, especially now that I see how much you love it.
