The Kommandant’s Girl by Pam Jennof

This book was amazing. The story began with Jacob and Emma. A loving couple who were separated by the war and the nazi taking over. Jacob was part of the resistance and new that staying would put her in danger. Emma having no choice but to go into the ghetto with her parents was rescued by Krysia who was Jacobs aunt. Emma was grateful for this but did not know her life might be in even more danger now. And with out noticing she has fallen in love with some one other than her husband knowing this could cause her death or her marriage to end.

I coulnt put this book down. The last few chapters left me here with my heart beating fast and hurting for her. Great read. Definitely recommend it to everyone❤
